Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Global Citizen Scholarship, applicants must:

1. International Student Status: Be an international student paying international fees and studying in Canada on a study permit.
2. Program of Study: Have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University for the Winter 2025, Summer 2025, or Fall 2025 intake. Postgraduate certificate and graduate students (Master’s/PhD) are not eligible.
3. Admission Requirements: Meet Trent University’s general and program-specific admission requirements, including English language proficiency, with a high school average of 80% or higher (Canadian equivalent).
4. Complete Application: Submit a complete scholarship application via the myTrent portal before the specified deadline.
5. Conditional Offer Requirements: Meet all conditions of the conditional offer letter and complete course registration to activate the scholarship.
